Captured ship: Duc de Boufflers of Dunkirk (commander Richard Barbier).
History: a French privateer (10 tons, 4 swivel guns, 18 men, an English ship taken by the French), bound from Dunkirk on a cruise; taken on 15/26 April 1747 off Flushing by the privateer Eagle (John Bazely commanding), and brought first into Flushing, and then into Dover.
