Captured ship: Le Don de Dieu of Les Sables D'Olonne (master André Ferret).
History: a French ship (100 tons), laden with fish and oil, bound from the Banks of Newfoundland to Les Sables D'Olonne; taken on 31 December 1744/11 January 1745 (at latitude 46º50 N, longitude 11º50 W from London) by the privateer Koulikan (Joseph Barker commanding), but the ship, being in a very bad condition and the cargo perishing, was ransomed for £400
