Captured ship: Le Don de Dieu of Grandville (master Pierre Moullard or Moulard).
History: a French merchant ship with letter of marque (80 tons, 19 men), bound from the Banks of Newfoundland to Honfleur, laden with 17,000 codfish, oil and cod tongues and lights; taken on 14/25 July 1744 in latitude 48º45 by the privateer Dispatch (Philip Balaine commanding), and brought into Sutton Pool, Plymouth
