Description

Captured ship: Le Diligent of Sables D'Olonne (master Jean Chavigneau).

History: a French ship (105 tons, 16 men, 4 boys), bound from Newfoundland to Nantes, laden with codfish; taken on 1/12 January 1745 by the privateer Greyhound (David Jenkins commanding) and brought into Falmouth.
