Captured ship: Les Deux Frères of Boulogne (master Oudard Paillet).
History: a French merchant ship (built at Rye, 10-20 tons, 9 men, 1 boy), bound from Dungeness to Boulogne, having unloaded brandy on a smuggling voyage; taken on 13/24 November 1744 by the privateer Unity (Robert Harrison commanding), and brought into Dover.
