Description

Ship: St Charles de Nantes (master Simon Le Tur, with Jacques le Grandas second captain).

History: a French ship, bound for Cap Breton, Newfoundland for cod and oil, and to return to Nantes or Spain.

Documents: journal of the second captain, with orders for the voyage, accounts etc.

[This book may perhaps have come from a later voyage, as there are no details of any capture at this date.]
