History: an English merchant ship, [bound from Bush River, Maryland to London, laden with tobacco; taken on 26 May 1745 off the Orkneys by three French privateers, retaken on 24 June near Ostend] by HMS Bridgwater (Lord George Graham commanding), HMS Sheerness (William Gordon commanding) and HMS Ursula (John Ferguson commanding), and brought into Ostend.
