Captured ship: Christina or Christiana of Kalmar (master Hindrich Biorn or Binn).
History: a Swedish merchant ship (brigantine, 112 tons), bound from London to Oporto laden with rye, barley, hats, old mats, iron hoops and rivets; taken on 23 June 1745 [OS] by a French privateer, retaken the same day by the privateer Bell (Peter Le Cocq commanding), and brought into Alderney.
