History: a French merchant ship (formerly Le Lapin or Four Friends), bound from Martinique to Le Havre, laden with sugar, coffee, cotton and indigo; taken on 21 April 1744 [OS] by HMS Aldborough (John Pitman commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
