Description

Named ship: Le Comte de Maurepas of St Malo (master La Mottereau).

History: a French merchant ship [perhaps engaged in trade with Marseilles, Majorca, Zante, cotton, cumin and linseed oil and other Mediterranean clues, but also mentions Le Havre]. No evidence of capture, so presumably taken on another ship at a later date.
