Captured ship: Le Conquerant of Dunkirk (master Gerard Morel of Dunkirk, age 40).
History: a French privateer (70 tons, 10 carriage guns, 9 swivel guns, 92 men), bound from Dunkirk on a cruise; taken on 5/16 March 1745 about twenty leagues off Land's End by HMS Falkland (Thomas Grenville commanding) and brought into Kinsale.
