Captured ship: Le Chasseur of L'Orient (master Jean Babulenne).
History: a French sloop bound from L'Orient for the coast of Africa, as a tender to several ships bound for Senegal, laden with 500 flat bars of iron, cordage and flour for the French African Company; taken on 23 April / 4 May 1746 in 46º by the privateer Dursley Galley (Organ Furnell commanding), and brought into Bristol.
