Captured ship: the Charming Molly of Antigua (master David Young before the first capture, and Grosine after).
History: an English merchant ship (200 tons), bound from the West Indies, laden with sugar, cotton and rum; taken in January 1748 by the French privateer Dauphine (Le Fouredy commanding), retaken a few days later by HMS Surprise (James Webb commanding), and brought into Falmouth.
