Captured ship: Carlshavener Werff of Carlshaven [Karlshamn] (master Johann Holm).
History: a Swedish ship bound from Hamburg to Cadiz, Alicante and Marseilles, laden with linen, and other merchandise; taken on 24 December 1747/ 4 January 1748 by HMS Lys (Thomas Knowler commanding) and brought into the River Thames.
