Description

Captured ship: Caesar or Cezar of St Valery (master François Fontaine).

History: a French privateer (25 tons, 2 carriage guns, 6 swivel guns, 38 men), taken on 15/26 April 1744 by the privateer Swift (George Hudson commanding), and brought into the Downs.
