Captured ship: Bourbon of Dunkirk (master Charles Le Moyne).
History: a French ship (220 tons, 10 guns, 40 men) with a pass for whatever destination the King orders; taken on 21 February 1746 by HMS Hastings (Archibald Stuart commanding) in sight of HMS Triton [Hill commanding], HMS Vulcan [Pigott commanding] and HMS Salamander [King commanding], and brought into the River Thames.
