Captured ship: Le Bon, formerly the English Bond or Bonn (master Jean Magescaz).
History: a French merchant ship (300 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Martinique, laden with wine, beef, butter, pork, flour and other small goods; taken on 2/12 August 1746 in latitude 45° by the privateer Blandford of Bristol (George Stonehouse commanding) and brought into Bristol.
