Captured ship: Le Barbot otherwise Barbeau of Vannes (master Joseph Drean).
History: a French coasting vessel (36 tons), bound from Vannes to Brest, laden with wheat; taken on 23 February/6 March 1747 in the race of Fontenoy, by the privateer Guernsey (Daniel Perchard commanding), and brought into Guernsey (by way of Falmouth).
