Captured ship: St Antoine de Padua of Dunkirk (master Pierre Jacques Canno).
History: a French barque or fishing boat (25 tons, 8 men) bound from the Groyne [Corunna] to Dunkirk, laden with table linen and hams; taken on 11 April 1744 between the English coast and Dunkirk by HMS Monmouth (Henry Harrison commanding) and brought into Plymouth.
