Description

Captured ship: St Anthony Abbot, Virgin of the Rosary and St Gertrude (master Francisco Olive).

History: a Spanish merchant ship (1200 Spanish quintals, 9 men) bound for Lisbon, laden with 872 serons of raisins and 25 milreis of Sparta; taken on 3/14 January 1743 by HMS Dolphin (Francis Holburne commanding) and afterwards burnt in the river of Lisbon.
