Captured ship: St Anthony and St Vincent Ferrara otherwise Princess Ann of Dublin (master François Janvier or Jauvier).
History: a Portuguese ship, bound from Dublin to Lisbon, laden with butter, salmon, cheese and wheat; taken first [in February 1748] by the French privateer St Joseph, second by the Guernsey privateer Cumberland, third by the French privateer of Grandville, and fourth on 3/14 April 1748 by the Guernsey privateer Hope (John Ahier commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
