Captured ship: St Anne of Bordeaux (master François Maurin or Morin).
History: a French merchant ship (30 tons), deserted by the crew, and taken on 15/26 July 1745 with seven others in the River of Bordeaux by the privateer Mary Galley (Samuel Thoume commanding). Two were ransomed for want of prize crew, four were sent off for Guernsey (this ship, Le Pierre Marie of Argenton (master Pierre Collin), La Marie Catherine of Conquet (master Yves Le Gall), and Le Bon Secours of Noirmoutier (master Jean Michaud)); and two others remained with the captor until they too were brought into Guernsey.
