Captured ship: St Anne of Nantes (master Samsin Berrouette or Sancin Berouette).
History: a French merchant ship (250 tons, 30 men) bound from Martinique to Nantes, laden with sugar, coffee, cocoa and cotton; taken on 10/21 January 1745 about 35 leagues from Belle Isle by HMS Monmouth (Henry Harrison commanding) and brought into Portsmouth.
