Captured ship: L'Aimable Anne of St Briac (master Pierre Rozé or Rosé).
History: a French merchant ship bound from Bordeaux to St Malo, laden with wine, soap, rosin and pitch; taken on 8/19 January 1747/8 by the privateer George (Charles Gordon commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
