Captured ship: L'Aimable Sophie of Marseilles, formerly the English ship Lovely Sally (master Jean Jacques Ollivier or Olivier).
History: a French merchant ship bound from Martinique to Bordeaux, laden with sugar, coffee and cocoa; taken in March 1747 by the privateers Saltash (George Powell commanding) and Warren (Charles Wilson commanding) and brought into Falmouth.
