Captured ship: Adolph Friederich otherwise Adolph Friedrick (master Lars Anderson Koberg).
History: a Swedish merchant ship, bound from Halmstad to Bordeaux, laden with hogshead staves; taken on 4 May 1748 off Dover by the privateer Anson (Benjamin Goodwin commanding) and brought into Dover.
