History: a Portuguese merchant ship (brigantine), bound from Santa Cruz, Tenerife to Madeira, laden with almonds, Canary wine and specie, and from which alleged Spanish property was removed; taken on [28 August] 1743 by HMS Monmouth (Charles Windham commanding).
