Captured ship: St Anne Xavier of Rennes (master René L'Escouarnée otherwise Les Cournet or Le Squarnet).
History: a French merchant barque, bound from Nantes to L'Orient, laden with planks; taken on 10 July 1746 (OS) by the privateers Adventure (John Lauga commanding), Hope (John Rolin commanding) and Double Revenge (Thomas Le Page commanding), and borught into Guernsey.
