Captured ship: Amicitia (master Gottfried Carstens).
History: a Danzig ship, bound from Bordeaux to Danzig, laden with wine, brandy, coffee, indigo, treacle, prunes and other goods; taken on 4/15 April 1748 by the privateers St Michael (George Cunningham commanding) and Culloden (Abraham Boxell commanding), and brought into the Downs.
