Captured ship: St Amand of Bordeaux, formerly St Pierre (master Jean Baptiste de L'Isle).
History: a French merchant ship (100 tons, 16 men) bound from Guadeloupe to Bordeaux, laden with sugar and coffee; taken 29 January 1745 by the privateer Dartmouth Galley (Walter Power commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
