Captured ship: Adlington of Liverpool (master John Robinson).
History: an English merchant ship (3 Englishmen and 4 boys) bound from Cork to St Kitts, laden with beef, pork, candles and cheese (and dry goods from Liverpool); taken on 14/25 November 1744 by the Spanish privateer Riana [?] of San Sebastian, retaken December 1744 by the privateer Tuscany (Robert Raitt commanding), and brought into Kinsale.
