Captured ship: Annette othwerwise Annatte or Annate of Nantes (master Louis de Ratieville otherwise Pierre de Reteville).
History: a French merchant ship (previously an English prize) with a letter of marque, bound from Nantes to Martinique, laden with beef, wine, flour and cloth; taken on 20/31 October 1747 in latitude 40º by HMS Centurion (Peter Denis commanding) with the East India Company ships (with letters of marque) Pelham, Augusta and Walpole in convoy, and brought into Portsmouth.
