Captured ship: St Antonio y Animas of Vigo (commander Jacomo Granell).
History: a Spanish privateer (40 tons, 8 carriage and 4 swivel guns, 54 men) bound from Vigo on a cruise; taken on 3 September 1739 about 8 leagues off Oporto by HMS Bonetta (Thomas Tucker commanding) and brought into Oporto, and [some of ?] the crew were sent then into Plymouth as prisoners.
