Captured ship: St Antoine otherwise St Antoine de L'Invisible, S Antonio della Invisible (master Jean Jacques Olive).
History: a French merchant ship (150 tons, 5 guns, 14 men) in the Levant trade, bound from Seida or Damietta to Marseilles, laden with rice, sal ammoniac, wax and galls; taken between Malta and Pantelleria on 25 June 1744, by the privateer Diamond (Daniel Goatley commanding), and brought into Leghorn [Livorno].
