History: an English merchant ship (20 tons, 8 men), bound from Rye to Hastings; seized on [9] January 1745 on suspicion of smuggling tea, brandy etc from Bolougne, France, by the privateer Eagle snow (John Bazely commanding) and brought into Dover.
