Description

Short title: Attorney General v Barclay.

Plaintiff(s): Attorney General and Humfrey Walcot, brother of Charles Walcot.

Defendant(s): William Barclay, Nicholas Bradshaw.

Subject of depositions: Woods in the hundred of Purslow, parcel of the honor of Clonn (Shropshire), belonging to Her Majesty, and woods there belonging to defendants. Metes and bounds. Customs of manor. Alleged encroachment on the woods by defendants. [The possessions of John de Vere, Earl of Oxford, Sir John Littleton, the Earl of Arundel. Roger Haberdyne, and the manor of Bedston, are mentioned].

County/place: Shropshire.
