Envelope mounted on card divider item 64, containing ten drawings and photographic images of Stockton and Darlington Railway locomotives and one photographic image of 'Puffing Billy':
1) Cutting [from article in 'The Locomotive Magazine' 15 May 1925 pages 154-6] of drawing with printed caption on front, 'Figure 15 'Raby Castle' [W and A Kitching 2-2-2 locomotive] No 30 Stockton and Darlington Railway' [image c.1839-1845].
2) Colour tinted postcard with printed caption on reverse, 'Stockton and Darlington Railway [0-6-0] Mineral Locomotive no 23 'Wilberforce' Designed By Timothy Hackworth Built By R Stephenson and Company in [1832 or 1833 not 1831 as per caption], published [c.1925] by The Locomotive Publishing Company [image based on an early photograph attributed to John Dixon c.1860], reverse also includes printed advertisement for a book entitled 'Train Lighting and Heating' [published 1925] by the same publisher, 9cm x 14cm, see also item 68/2.
