Folio(s) 399A-399B. Printed copy of a resolution of the Bath and West of England Agriculture, etc. Society, passed at a General Meeting held at Bath on 9 September, signed by its Secretary, Nehemiah Bartley, affirming its support for the enactment of a General Bill of Inclosure [Enclosure] as the best means of bringing land into cultivation but, in its absence, approving of attempts in Parliament to reduce the costs of particular enclosure bills and voting their thanks to the Duke of Bedford, Sir John Sinclair, William Dickinson, William Gore Langton, Benjamin Hobhouse and William Wilberforce.
