Description

The Roll of Honour is a list of Army servicemen and servicewomen who died in the Second World War, 1939-1945. The list gives details of rank, regiment, place of birth and domicile (by town, county or country) and theatre or country where the fatal wound was sustained or death occurred. At the present time it is not known which section produced the records.

The information is in coded form. WO 304/1 is a key to the codes
