Description

Prisoner name(s): Susan Dyson.

Court and date of trial: Bury St Edmunds [Suffolk] Sessions December 1838.

Crime: Stealing from employer.

Initial sentence: One year's imprisonment with hard labour.

Annotated (Outcome): Recommendation of Recorder; sentence reduced to 6 months and answered 12 January 1839.

Petitioner(s): R M Rolfe (Recorder of Bury St Edmunds).
