Copy of a letter from Captain Willis to Secretary Burchett. Concerns the pledge made between himself, Lord Polworth, the Dutch Ambassador and the merchants of Rotterdam to rescue its cargo of brandy from the very leaky and lightly manned fly boat. Having got the vessel to the safety of Copenhagen (without taking a spoonful of its brandy or wine), he requests their Lordships to safely cruise upon the coast of Holland.
