Remarks: Dismissed 6 August 1915 for neglect of duty and being under the influence of drink. Re-joined 30 June 1919. Commended 11 August 1919 for meritorious conduct in connection with the resue of a woman and child falling between coaches at Barry Island. Dismissed 2 October 1924 for creating a disturbance and Cogan Station under the influence of drink.
