Description

Prisoner name(s): William Conde.

Prisoner occupation: Tailor.

Court and date of trial: Shropshire Quarter Sessions held at Oswestry October 1830.

Crime: Assault. Violently assaulting R Munshall of Salop Road, Oswestry, [Shropshire] in August 1830.

Initial sentence: 'To find security to keep the peace himself in £20 and two sureties in £10 each and in default three months imprisonment.'

Annotated (Outcome): 'Inform R Munshall that R Peel has made full inquiry into this case.'

Other papers: A letter from R Munshall complaining about the outcome of the case.

A letter from M P Kenyon giving details of the case.

A letter from Mr Peploe Cartwright, Mayor of Oswestry, Presiding Magistrate.
