Prisoner age: 60.

Prisoner occupation: Bricklayer.

Court and date of trial: Old Bailey September Sessions in 1830.

Crime: Stealing fixtures (two indictments).

Initial sentence: Seven years transportation.

Gaoler's report: Not known here.

Grounds for clemency (Petition Details): The prisoner for many years had a good reputation as a bricklayer; he was actually repairing the premises not dilapidating them; the judge recommended leniency; the prisoner is 60 years old and has always been in credit and held in high respect.
