Description

Prisoner name(s): James Smith.

Prisoner age: 16.

Court and date of trial: Old Bailey October Sessions 1826.

Crime: Stealing lead from the roof of an unoccupied house belonging to Henry Abbott in Spitalfields, London.

Initial sentence: Seven years transportation.

Annotated (Outcome): On board the Ganymede. 'Let him remain where he is.'
