Grounds for clemency (Petition Details): The prisoner is the sole protector of her dead sister's six children, her own children and her afflicted 80 year old mother; the prisoner would the true culprit of the crime is a family friend of 25 years' standing, named Mr Bell; she wishes to be placed in the penitentiary; the prisoner was unable to employ counsel at her trial because she has lost all her property, money and friends.
