Prisoner age: 19.
Court and date of trial: Monmouth Great Sessions in August 1827.
Crime: Stealing a small cup and some silver from the dwelling house of Absalom Jones of Dolgellau, [Monmouthshire, Wales].
Initial sentence: Capital charge commuted to two years imprisonment and hard labour.
Annotated (Outcome): Remission prepared 10 April 1828.
Petitioner(s): Mr Kenrick a magistrate of Bala.
Grounds for clemency (Petition Details): The prisoners' youth; the prisoners' exemplary conduct in the house of correction; the prisoners' crimes were commissioned by others; the good character of the prisoners' fathers; the petitioner is confident that the prisoners will not reoffend.
