Other papers: List of criminal lunatics in Carmarthen Gaol from John Burnhill. Two letters from John Burnhill (Governor of Carmarthen Gaol) to the Home Department requesting that the lunatic be removed to a proper asylum. Three further similar letters with a surgeon's certificate of insanity appended to each. Letter from J Jenkins (surgeon) confirming that the detainee is now of rational mind.
