Description

The Contracts Co-ordinating Committee was set up in 1920 to standardize procedures and prevent competition between the defence departments. The series contains the annual reports of the Committee, 1923-1939; its minutes and agenda, 1920 to 1960; and those of the General Purposes Sub-Committee, 1940 to 1950. There is also correspondence related to meetings. The series also includes registered files cited by the Official Historian, 1942 to 1944, and others relating to the constitution of the Committee and Sub-Committee.
