To: The Local Government Act Office.
From: T Pain, Clerk to the Banbury Local Board of Health, Banbury, [Oxfordshire].
A letter and a petition from the Banbury Local Board of Health to the Home Secretary. Pain forwards the petition, which requests the Home Secretary will sanction them to gain a mortgage of £17200 to purchase water works in Banbury and build additional pipes in the District, in light of the Water Company currently trying to gain parliamentary approval of powers which would conflict with those of the Banbury Board.
Pain requests to know what additional information the Home Secretary will need to be furnished with in order to consider the matter.
